Digital QMT Shade Motor for QMT3 Series, 3/4 Nm, infiNET EX® Communications, International

Featuring Digital Quiet Motor Technology™, the CSMI-QMTDC-163-1-EX motor provides quiet, yet robust operation of Crestron® roller shade systems. Fully integrated electronics eliminate the need for bulky add-on interface modules, allowing for a clean, streamlined installation. The CSMI-QMTDC-163-1-EX is capable of controlling shades that are 17.5 to 96 in. (445 to 2,439 mm) wide, depending on fabric, hardware configuration, and shade height.

The CSMI-QMTDC-163-1-EX integrates seamlessly with a Crestron control system, allowing it to be operated alone or as part of a group using keypads, wireless remotes, touch screens, and mobile devices.

Integrated Controls

Setup controls are included on the CSMI-QMTDC-163-1-EX to facilitate setup, testing, and adjustment of shade limits.

Digital Quiet Motor Technology

Quiet Motor Technology allows for nearly inaudible operation while providing precise control of shade movement. Digital QMT® shade motors also keep track of the shade's position which allows the shade to be programmatically adjusted to the user's desired position.

infiNET EX® Wireless Communication

infiNET EX wireless technology provides two-way RF communications throughout a residential or commercial structure without the need for physical control wiring. Each infiNET EX device acts as an expander by sending command signals to other infiNET EX devices in range (approximately 150 ft (46 m) indoors) to ensure reliability and stability.

The shade motor communicates with a Crestron control system via a Crestron wireless gateway (sold separately). Up to 100 infiNET EX devices may coexist on a single wireless network.

QMT®3 Series Architectural or Décor Mounting Hardware

Designed for use with Crestron® QMT®3 Series Architectural (CSS-ARCH3) or QMT3 Series Décor (CSS-DECOR3) mounting hardware. QMT3 series mounting hardware is a compact mounting system that allows a Crestron shade to be mounted on a wall, ceiling, or window jamb.

Simple Mounting

The CSMI-QMTDC-163-1-EX snaps into the mounting bracket. The Quick Release button makes installation and removal without any special tools quick and easy.

Power Supply

Power is supplied to the shade motor by a dedicated power supply (CSAI-PWS40, sold separately) or a 10-motor power supply (CSA-PWS10S-HUB-ENET, sold separately).
