For the 2nd year running, we teamed up with our celebrated Middle East partner Intertech Vision for the ICT tradeshow in Cairo. From 27 to 30 November, the show debuted some of the most advanced innovations in information and communication technology. We were proud to introduce our new, ultra-bright ODL laser video wall and showcase our OpSpace operator workspace.

Two years, two new solutions
In 2015, we launched our OSV HB series, which is powered by laser phosphor projectors, at the Cairo ICT trade show. It met with enthusiastic response. So did OpSpace and this year’s newcomer: the brand-new ODL flagship laser video wall was the star of our booth - or should we say, of the show? Ensuring unsurpassed brightness, vivid colours and extremely low total cost of ownership, the ODL series demonstrates once again why we continue to lead the industry. We received great feedback on our technology, as well as on the fact that companies like ours are choosing Egypt as the perfect place to debut new ICT solutions in the Middle East.

Celebrating an ongoing fruitful collaboration
The last 16 years have featured the strong and warm partnership between Barco and Intertech Vision in Egypt, Oman and the UAE. Our determination to have a dual presence at Cairo ICT follows up on the recent award we granted to Khaled Noeman, Intertech Vision’s Managing Director, for his ongoing loyalty and collaboration. The award was presented to him during a special ceremony in Dubai in the presence of the Belgian Ambassador to the UAE Dominique Mineur and Barco’s CEO Jan De Witte.
